Starting this Sunday we will be spending a week with Brennan Manning.  As a follow up to "The Law is Good" series we will be looking into the heart of the Gospel.  To help describe and teach us the Gospel, who else but Brennan?  So, join in on the conversation next week as I will be posting various excerpts from several of Brennan Manning's books.

He seems to tend toward universalism sometimes. But he sure is poetic about the Gospel.

I struggle more with his mysticism but have not found anyone that can accentuate the Gospel the way he does... you are right that he is poetic! "Ambushed by Jesus; The Furious Love of God; etc..." His use of words for the Gospel are refreshing.
