Is It Time To Re-examine Our View Of Christian Progress?
It is time that we Re-examine the idea of Christian Progress. Is Christian progress defined as the Christian moving in towards holiness? Or, is Christian progress the Holy One moving upon the Christian?
If you would like to read more on this subject of Christian Growth, I have a 6 part series posted below. I would strongly encourage you to check out part 1 in this series where I address a different way of looking at Christian progress. (i.e. different than what is typically taught in most evangelical pulpits these days) Part 1 shares that there is progress in the Christian life, but not as movement and not in the way that attempts to reform and/or modify the sinful nature. The progress that happens is a dying of the old and being raised in the new.
I hope you enjoy.
