very powerful illustration! so often we believe that our sinful nature is just "bothersome" and may cause us to make a few mistakes... tell a few white lies, gossip a little, lose our temper...but nothing that would require the horrific death of an innocent Savior on a cross to save us! All we need is advice and a self-help plan, right? I'm so, so, so thankful that I don't have to "save" myself, I would do a rotten job of it! Thank you God for doing it for us!
