Marriage Has Nothing To Do With "Equality"
Marriage
has nothing to do with 'equality.' A man is equal to a woman in
neither appearance nor capacity, and vice versa. A man and a woman complement
(not compliment) each other in marriage - they fill what the other is lacking,
and from this we see life, not merely in procreation, but life as it is
supposed to be lived, in service to the neighbor. When a man and a woman
complement each other, even then the result is not equality, as if that were
ever the goal of their relationship. The result is fulfillment of who nature
teaches they are and should be. Man is not an end to himself.
Equality in a relationship will never fulfill the desires of a person involved in it. One reason for this is because the end of man is not to have his desires fulfilled. The other reason of course is that equality has never happened; it is merely a tool of intimidation employed by those who worship themselves. Equality is the guise and battle cry of rising tyrants.
