Much Quietness Gives Much Strength...

In returning and rest shall ye be saved;

in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.  (Is. 30:15)

Quietness is strength; hustle and bustle are weakness.  Would you be strong?  Then learn the art of quietness.  If you are restless, you will finally lose your strength.  By being quiet you will become strong.

Much quietness bestows much strength.

Confidence in God makes a person unconquerable.  Confidence is faith. And our faith is the victory which has overcome the world.

Quietness and confidence are inseparable.  Confidence is born in quietness.  In quietness we meet One whom we easily forget in the midst of hustle and bustle.  He who is always busy depends too much on himself.  He who dares to be quiet learns to depend on God, and thereby he becomes strong.

Dear harassed Christian, "Change your ways and be quiet.  In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
