When We Are Quick To Judge

 

When we are quick to judgment, we are quick to eliminate forthcoming facts and information that would otherwise weigh into a judgment.  And so, since foolish pride and unhinged emotions are always embedded within a quick judgment, both pride and emotions will oppose additional facts and information.  Pride - especially - does not want to eat crow, as they say.  The ancient proverbial sentiment is correct, 'the prideful fool is quick to emotional judgments and slow to listen; whereas, wisdom lends one to listen quickly and judge slowly.
