It Is Christ - Or Go Home!
The Church preaches 'Christ Crucified' - not politics, not
financial management, not hot sex tips, not leadership principles, not diet
plans, not vaccines, not woke culture, etc.
Christ and His atoning cross supersede our silly little scuffles,
agendas, and utopian ideas. When the
Christian forgets the message of 'Christ Crucified' and embraces a different
gospel (which is not really the gospel), the cross's message is ruined. Furthermore, 'Christ Crucified' cannot be
reduced to fit into our insignificant scuffles, agendas, and utopian ideas, but
instead, our tiny scuffles, agendas, and utopian ideas must find their end in
Christ. Never forget that because of the
Cross, the Christian has been crucified in relation to the world, set free from
the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns
that the world dictates. Wake up; we
have been crucified with Christ - our ego, agendas, and ideas are neither
central nor of much value. We live our
lives by faith in the Son of God, who gave Himself for us. We are not going to
go back on that.
