Installation Service To Be Held At Zion Lutheran Church

As many of you know from past blog posts, I have been in transition for quite some time.  This past May I resigned my call in Montana and moved my family to St. Louis to finish classes for my doctoral program, as well as take classes for colloquy (i.e., my transition into the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod).

Today, I am pleased to announce on this blog that Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS) of Gwinner, ND voted on October 27th to call me as their pastor. On November 9th, I accepted this divine call. Thus, my family and I have moved to Gwinner and get to be North Dakota residents again.

My installation service has been scheduled for November 24th at 7:00 PM.  You are cordially invited to attend if you are able.  The Rev. David Warner will be the liturgist and the Rev. Joshua Reimche will be preaching. Come early for a potluck at 5:30 PM.  The address and contact information for the church can be found  by CLICKING HERE and HERE.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to say 'thank you' to everyone for their support over the last several months.  Thank you to those who contributed to the colloquy fundraiser this past spring and thank you to those who kept us in your prayers and offered up simple encouragements.  I greatly appreciate it.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Matt Richard
